Snogo in the Wild – Lost SNOGO

Snogo in the Wild

Hello Snogo Fam,

The other day I was talking with a few of our Brand Ambassadors, swapping festival stories and laughing about all the places a SNOGO has ended up over the years.

Let’s be honest… if you’ve been out enough, you’ve probably left one behind at least once.

Then someone sent me a photo of a “Lost SNOGO” flyer they spotted at a festival. I couldn’t stop laughing. It also reminded me of a SNOGO in the Wild story shared last year.

I remember reading it the first time and thinking, “Yep… I’ve been there.”

Not necessarily losing the SNOGO… although that’s happened too (sadly). I’m talking about getting so wrapped up in the experience that everything else fades away. The music. The people. The conversations. One adventure turns into another, and before you know it, the sun’s coming up and you’ve somehow created another story you’ll be telling for years.

Finn captured that feeling and what happens perfectly.

Snogo in the Wild – Lost SNOGO

The Snogo catchphrase is “Anytime. Anywhere.” Which sounds brilliant, until you realise “anywhere” also includes somewhere you can’t quite remember.

It started like most good nights do. No real plan. Just mates, music, conversation, movement, and that perfect bit of chaos where one thing leads to another. A quick stop turns into a proper stay. A familiar face becomes three new friends. The night keeps unfolding, and you’re simply in it.

That’s when it happened.

Somewhere between laughing too much, moving from one place to the next, checking on a mate, meeting someone new, and being completely caught up in the moment, my SNOGO disappeared.

Gone.

No dramatic scene. No obvious mistake. No clear moment where I thought, “Ah, that’s where I lost it.”

Just that awful little pause later when I reached for it and realised it wasn’t there. If you know, you know.

It’s a very particular kind of sadness. Not the end of the world, obviously. But still. Your SNOGO becomes part of your night-out rhythm. It has stories. It has been places. Festivals, weekends away, after-hours adventures, road trips, hotel rooms, dance floors, rooftops, and nights that probably deserve their own group chat archive.

And then suddenly, it’s just… gone.

I’d love to say this was unusual. It isn’t.

I’ve got friends who have lost theirs at festivals. On trips. In Ubers. At someone’s house. In a field. In a bag that was definitely checked at least three times. In a loo where no one ever saw it again.

There’s no happy ending here.

I didn’t find it.

No kind stranger handed it back.

No mate pulled it from a pocket and said, “Were you looking for this?”

But there is one small comfort.

I know exactly where to get another.

Cheers to Anytime. Anywhere.

But perhaps not loose in your hand at 1:47 AM.

That’s what SNOGO in the Wild is all about.

Not the straw. The stories. The people you meet. The places you never expected to end up. The adventures that start with a simple, “You in?”

So keep making memories. Take your SNOGO with you.

And if you’ve got a story worth telling, send it our way. We love sharing the adventures that make this community what it is. And we’ll give you a SNOGO if we use your story…that much valued backup, eh?

Big Love,
AY
