Snogo in the Wild
Dear Snogo Fam,
It’s that time of year again—Halloween is creeping up, and the pressure to put together the perfect costume is real! 🎃 Been there, done that. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays—I live for the chance to get a little wild, dress up, and have some fun.
I’ve been excited to share this Snogo Costume connection story with you as it ends up being much deeper than I would have believed. It should be called the Snogo Costume Matchmaker +.
It’s the spooky season and the perfect time to share Sylvia’s story.

Dear Snogo,
I thought it might be fun to share a Halloween connection story with you as we are coming up on Halloween and my one-year anniversary to the love of my life, thanks to your beautiful little Snogo.
Just over a year ago, I was in San Francisco for a quick work trip. I was rolling on my own, as my workmates were not into dance music. I love nights out on my own on occasion, so I was excited to see some proper Techno at Halcyon.
The club was small but the air was thick with laughter and the scent of sweat, and of course, the music was pounding. I was feeling open and really wanting to dance. I had my Snogo on my necklace and a cute little top that apparently was rather eye-catching as I inspired a lot of people standing around to start dancing with me. The neon lights glinted off the vibrant costumes, but one stood out—a striking girl in a metallic body suit costume and cowboy hat.
I kept glancing at her, until before long, I found myself in her orbit. Now here is the funny part. My Snogo necklace swung around and got caught in the metal loops of her chainmail top. “Whoa!” I exclaimed, trying to free it, but it was completely caught up in her top. We both laughed and worked for seriously 5 minutes to get ourselves untangled from each other.
Finally, she said: “Looks like I’m keeping it!” she teased, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. I couldn’t help but laugh, but with my heart open at the moment, I said but of course. We both laughed and I took the necklace off myself and placed it around her neck. She then put her cowboy hat on me, and said, “Here, this suits you better anyway,” she said with a grin. We both giggled, the moment feeling like the most spontaneous adventure.
As the night went on, we danced together, as though we were magnetized by our mutual gifts. The music thrummed, and every glance and touch ignited something deeper. By the time we left the club, we were practically inseparable, our laughter natural, and just perfect.
When we finally made it to my hotel, the energy from earlier sparked into something electric. The cowboy hat lay forgotten on the floor as we connected. It ended up being one of the hottest nights of our lives.
And here is the kicker, it’s been almost a year now, and we are STILL together! We laugh all the time about how our connection was made.
Thanks to that Snogo, I’ve found an unforgettable connection that has turned into something real. It all started from a tangle of costume fabric and chance. So- that’s my Halloween Snogo connection story. I cherish it, like I do my Snogo.
Thanks!
Sylvia
