Snogo in the Wild SITW November 23
Merry Merry Snogoers!
The season for giving thanks and showing appreciation, it’s NOW. But for me, personally, “the season” is my green light to gush about how thankful I am every single day. So, to each and every one of you, THANK YOU!!! You’re absolutely, positively, hands-down, THE BEST! No exaggeration! Cause here’s the thing, as a designer I’m meticulous (a.k.a. anal) about every last detail, but ultimately it’s the customers that make Snogo what it is.
Over the past 5 years, I’ve literally encountered hundreds and hundreds of people wearing Snogo and I’ve talked to almost every one of them and… every single one of them – of you!- has been friendly, gracious and so freaking cool! THANK YOU FOR YOUR GOODNESS!
If you’ve got any doubts about that goodness, you won’t for long, this month’s SITW selection is irrefutable proof of how incredibly good you guys are.

Hey Snogo,
I read your stories and lo and behold, I had a rad SNOGO experience. I help at a local charity almost every Tuesday morning, except during COVID. Last Tuesday was Halloween, and they asked for volunteers for the Halloween event. It’s like a fair for families in the community, which is cool because our neighborhood isn’t great for trick-or-treating. I enjoy volunteering and since it was close to the Halloween party I always go to, I signed up instead of my usual Tuesday morning gig so I could head straight to the party afterward. Doing good before getting naughty, say yes!
I didn’t know any of the other volunteers, and I didn’t expect to. Usually, it’s just me and two retirees on Tuesday mornings, and the rest are one-day church groups. But surprisingly, there were a lot of individual volunteers around my age for the Halloween event.
When I arrived, Judy, the volunteer coordinator, pointed the way to the make-up station and said “Darrah is already over there, I think you two will have fun together.” Darrah was dressed as a gypsy fortune teller. She had a crystal ball and told the kids their fortunes while doing their make-up (they were hysterical). She was wearing a fringe-covered muumuu, a beaded head scarf and lots and lots of layers of long gold necklaces, which is why I didn’t immediately notice her SNOGO Gold. She was wearing so many chains I thought maybe I was hallucinating, so I asked, “Are you wearing a SNOGO?” Darrah laughed and she looked into her crystal ball and said “I see new friends in your future!” Darrah told me that another volunteer she had just met, Jason, also called her out on the SNOGO.
Jason was outside working games so I didn’t meet him until we started closing down and cleaning up. When we finished, we all exchanged numbers and made a pact to volunteer together for the Thanksgiving grocery distribution. And, surprise, Jason was going to the same party as I was, so we went together. We partied together all night. To think, if Darrah hadn’t worn her SNOGO none of that would have happened. Also, since Jason and I were talking about the charity, two of my friends said they would sign up to do the Thanksgiving turkey distribution with us. So, just like I’ve always said: Party People Save the World! (And SNOGO is helping us do it!)
